In January, Donald Trump signed an executive order banning travel to the United States from seven Muslim-majority countries. The order sparked a series of mass protests and was blocked by federal judges. Six weeks later, on Monday 6 March , Donald Trump signed a new, modified version of the order. The ban prevents citizens of Syria, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen from obtaining visas to the US for at least 90 days, and blocks the admission of refugees into the US for 120 days. The new ban takes effect on 16 March.
